Featured Partner
Amanda Campbell is a fashion designer, technical designer, and consultant who specializes in helping emerging and established womenswear brands develop production-ready collections. With over 16 years of industry experience, she blends creativity, strategy, and real-world production expertise to guide clients through design development, technical design, manufacturing strategy, and brand growth. Her goal is to give designers and brands the clarity, support, and direction they need to grow and launch with confidence. She started by having her own evening wear and sustainable ready-to-wear brand for over 12 years, where she designed, patterned, graded, and sewed all the garments herself. Her ready-to-wear work was carried in boutiques in small batches, and her evening wear was featured on runways and in magazines. She transitioned to corporate fashion in 2020 as a lead designer and technical designer, where she led a design team creating 100+ designs a year. She managed all technical design and vendor communication there as well. She transitioned to freelancing in September 2024. In addition to her consulting work, Amanda is a professor at Virginia Commonwealth University, where she mentors the next generation of designers and builds a strong foundation in craftsmanship, problem-solving, and industry readiness. Her work centers on elevating designers, strengthening their skills, and helping them build brands that are thoughtful, intentional, and scalable.
