Caroline Trend has spent over 30 years in fashion design and product development, taking apparel brands from initial concept to factory-ready production. Through Rosebudd Design Consultancy, she works across sportswear, activewear, outdoor and lifestyle apparel, bringing technical development, fabric sourcing and manufacturing knowledge shaped by co-founding and running a UK garment manufacturing unit herself. She's built product development partnerships with brands like Castore, Xtreme Apparel and Kula Underwear, and factories working with her get a partner who already understands both sides of the production process.
We do the vetting on both sides, then set up an introduction built to last. Each partner has been personally reviewed by the Entreupia team and approved based on expertise, delivery quality, and long-term potential.
Caroline Trend is the founder of Rosebudd Design Consultancy, with over 30 years of experience across fashion, sportswear, activewear and lifestyle product.
Her background spans design, product development, technical development, fabric and trim sourcing and manufacturing, working with start-ups and growing brands as well as established businesses. She previously co-founded and ran a UK garment manufacturing unit, giving her direct experience of production from both the brand and factory side.
Before founding Rosebudd, Caroline held senior design and product development roles in the UK fashion industry, including Head of Design at Golddigga, and worked with major retailers including Debenhams, New Look, ASOS and Forever 21.
Her work spans range planning, technical packs, fabric and trim sourcing, sampling, fit and product refinement, and product development strategy. She has particular expertise in jersey, performance and technical apparel, and works across menswear, womenswear and lifestyle categories.
Castore - Designed the brand's first collection and developed its initial performance sportswear range at launch.
Xtreme Apparel - Design and product development across men's and women's outdoor collections, including technical packs, fabric sourcing and sampling.
Kula Underwear - Around ten years of ongoing product development support for a men's underwear brand, including sampling and technical decisions.
Botanica Gear - Took over product development after an early false start, building the tech pack and managing sourcing and sampling through to production readiness.
Strut'In - Product strategy, additional tech packs, fabric selection and costing to establish a clear route into sampling and production.
